WorkSource Macon-Bibb Announces New Officers and Board Members
(Macon, GA) WorkSource Macon-Bibb announces Dr. Shannon Gordon, CEO of River Edge Behavioral Health as Chair for a two-year term. In addition, Tyler Carter, Owner Georgia Premier Electrical Services was elected as Vice-Chair; Jeneen Andrews Plant Services Manager, Georgia Power as Treasurer; and Bob Burnham, Professor Middle Georgia State University as Secretary.
Four new members were appointed to the Workforce Board of Directors by Macon-Bibb County Mayor Lester Miller: Crystal Buzza, Irving Tissue, HR Director; Tyler Garrison, GEC Environmental/TERRACON, Client Development Manager; Jessica Lewis, MOBU Enterprises, Owner; and Angie Walker, Piedmont Health, Executive Director HR.
Incoming Chairman, Dr. Shannon Gordon, said, “Workforce shortages and skills gaps are current, critical issues facing the business community. Together, the Workforce Board of Directors and the Workforce staff team will continue aggressive efforts to provide training and education opportunities for Macon-Bibb residents to fill these needs.”
