Our Mission

WorkSource Macon-Bibb is a department of Middle Georgia Regional Commission and is governed by the Local Elected Officials of Macon-Bibb County. We help prepare and connect job seekers to job opportunities in Middle Georgia by providing access to high-quality career services, education, and training while connecting employers with a talented pool of workers.

WorkSource Macon-Bibb understands the connection gap between both the job seeker and the employer, which is why we partner with many organizations who are dedicated to addressing local workforce needs. Partner organizations include:

• Macon-Bibb Workforce Development Board
• Local and State Government
• University System of Georgia
• Technical College System of Georgia
• Businesses
• Community Organizations

We offer a “one-stop” shop for career and human resource needs, as well as employment tools and resources, including access to skills training. No fees are charged for any of the services offered.

A One-Stop Operator is designated to provide vision and oversight for site operations and services at the “one-stop”. The Operator is competitively chosen and is currently contracted to In The Door, LLC.
